Yet how fashion this for your delight?

How give it form and appearance without betraying

The burning core when I do not know the burning core

Except by the names I give it?

Darkness, nothingness, total silence-

Are not these also changed at that station?

Are they not also given form and core by which to tell

The core behind all things

I tell this by the absence of a name

I call the first cause the many-in-one

But this is where language fails

Only the dance will satisfy at this point

Only the song of the heart’s ecstasy

Will outlast the lesser dark
