Yet if I were He that is beginningless and endless
If I were that one I’d offer every solace to the wind
I would not deny nor turn my back on the sighs of the world
But grant ever call and bestow ever state
That knowledge might be known
Dreams, mere dreams, nothing but dreams
And useless thoughts
I take refuge in the self but find that it cannot contain me-
No, I’m more than the sum of my many parts
And the heart still years to Know
And still the fire rages in creation
Were there but You and I then that would be sufficient unto me
I would give that praise that was needed
I would be everything that creation might be!
Dreams, mere dreams and still the dreaming continues
