1 [Song of a Psalm by David.] 2 O God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory. 3 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early. 4 I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, among the people; I will sing praise to thee among the Gentiles. 5 For thy mercy is great above the heavens, and thy truth [reaches] to the clouds. 6 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth. 7 That thy beloved [ones] may be delivered, save with thy right hand, and hear me. 8 God has spoken in his sanctuary; I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents. 9 Galaad is mine; and Manasses is mine; and Ephraim is the help of mine head; Judas is my king; 10 Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me. 11 Who will bring me into the fortified city? or who will guide me to Idumea? 12 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast rejected us? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? 13 Give us help from tribulation: for vain is the help of man. 14 Through God we shall do valiantly; and he will bring to nought our enemies.

᾿ῼδὴ ψαλμοῦ τῷ Δαυΐδ. - 2 ΕΤΟΙΜΗ ἡ καρδία μου, ὁ Θεός, ἑτοίμη ἡ καρδία μου, ᾄσομαι καὶ ψαλῶ ἐν τῇ δόξῃ μου. 3 ἐξεγέρθητι, ψαλτήριον καὶ κιθάρα· ἐξεγερθήσομαι ὄρθρου. 4 ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν λαοῖς, Κύριε, ψαλῶ σοι ἐν ἔθνεσιν, 5 ὅτι μέγα ἐπάνω τῶν οὐρανῶν τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ ἕως τῶν νεφελῶν ἡ ἀλήθειά σου. 6 ὑψώθητι ἐπὶ τοὺς οὐρανούς, ὁ Θεός, καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἡ δόξα σου. 7 ὅπως ἂν ῥυσθῶσιν οἱ ἀγαπητοί σου, σῶσον τῇ δεξιᾷ σου καὶ ἐπάκουσόν μου. 8 ὁ Θεὸς ἐλάλησεν ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ· ὑψωθήσομαι καὶ διαμεριῶ Σίκιμα, καὶ τὴν κοιλάδα τῶν σκηνῶν διαμετρήσω· 9 ἐμός ἐστι Γαλαάδ, καὶ ἐμός ἐστι Μανασσῆς, καὶ ᾿Εφραὶμ ἀντίληψις τῆς κεφαλῆς μου, ᾿Ιούδας βασιλεύς μου, 10 Μωὰβ λέβης τῆς ἐλπίδος μου, ἐπὶ τὴν ᾿Ιδουμαίαν ἐπιβαλῶ τὸ ὑπόδημά μου, ἐμοὶ ἀλλόφυλοι ὑπετάγησαν. 11 τίς ἀπάξει με εἰς πόλιν περιοχῆς; ἢ τίς ὁδηγήσει με ἕως τῆς ᾿Ιδουμαίας; 12 οὐχὶ σύ, ὁ Θεός, ὁ ἀπωσάμενος ἡμᾶς; καὶ οὐκ ἐξελεύσῃ, ὁ Θεός, ἐν ταῖς δυνάμεσιν ἡμῶν; 13 δὸς ἡμῖν βοήθειαν ἐκ θλίψεως, καὶ ματαία σωτηρία ἀνθρώπου. 14 ἐν τῷ Θεῷ ποιήσωμεν δύναμιν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξουδενώσει τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ἡμῶν.
