1 And king David and the captains of the host appointed to their services the sons of Asaph, and of Aeman, and of Idithun, prophesiers with harps, and lutes, and cymbals: and their number was according to their polls serving in their ministrations. 2 The sons of Asaph; Sacchur, Joseph, and Nathanias, and Erael: the sons of Asaph [were] next the king. 3 To Idithun [were reckoned] the sons of Idithun, Godolias, and Suri, and Iseas, and Asabias, and Matthathias, six after their father Idithun, sounding loudly on the harp thanksgiving and praise to the Lord. 4 To Aeman [were reckoned] the sons of Aeman, Bukias, and Matthanias, and Oziel, and Subael, and Jerimoth, and Ananias, and Anan, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rometthiezer, and Jesbasaca, and Mallithi, and Otheri, and Meazoth. 5 All these [were] the sons of Aeman the king’s chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Aeman fourteen sons, and three daughters. 6 All these sang hymns with their father in the house of God, with cymbals, and lutes, and harps, for the service of the house of God, near the king, and Asaph, and Idithun, and Aeman. 7 And the number of them after their brethren, those instructed to sing to God, every one that understood [singing] was two hundred and eighty-eight. 8 And they also cast lots for the daily courses, for the great and the small [of them], of the perfect ones and the learners. 9 And the first lot of his sons and of his brethren came forth to Asaph the son of Joseph, [namely], Godolias: the second Heneia, his sons and his brethren [being] twelve. 10 The third Zacchur, his sons and his brethren [were] twelve: 11 the fourth Jesri, his sons and his brethren [were] twelve: 12 the fifth Nathan, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 13 the sixth Bukias, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 14 the seventh Iseriel, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 15 the eighth Josia, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 16 the ninth Matthanias, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 17 the tenth Semeia, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 18 the eleventh Asriel, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 19 the twelfth Asabia, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 20 the thirteenth Subael, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 21 the fourteenth Matthathias, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 22 the fifteenth Jerimoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 23 the sixteenth Anania, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 24 the seventeenth Jesbasaca, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 25 the eighteenth Anania, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 26 the nineteenth Mallithi, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 27 the twentieth Heliatha, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 28 the twenty-first Otheri, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 29 the twenty-second Godollathi, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 30 the twenty-third Meazoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve: 31 the twenty-fourth Rometthiezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve: ΚΑΙ ἔστησε Δαυὶδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς ᾿Ασὰφ καὶ Αἰμὰν καὶ ᾿Ιδιθοὺν τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν. 2 υἱοὶ ᾿Ασάφ, Σακχοὺρ ᾿Ιωσὴφ καὶ Ναθανίας καὶ ᾿Εραήλ, υἱοὶ ᾿Ασὰφ ἐχόμενοι τοῦ βασιλέως. 3 τῷ ᾿Ιδιθοὺν υἱοὶ ᾿Ιδιθούν· Γοδολίας καὶ Σουρὶ καὶ ᾿Ισέας καὶ Σεμεΐ καὶ ᾿Ασαβίας καὶ Ματταθίας, ἓξ μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν ᾿Ιδιθούν, ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ Κυρίῳ. 4 τῷ Αἰμὰν υἱοὶ Αἰμάν· Βουκίας καὶ Ματθανίας καὶ ᾿Οζιὴλ καὶ Σουβαὴλ καὶ ᾿Ιεριμὼθ καὶ ᾿Ανανίας καὶ ᾿Ανὰν καὶ ῾Ελιαθὰ καὶ Γοδολλαθὶ καὶ Ῥωμετθιέζερ καὶ ᾿Ιεσβασακὰ καὶ Μαλλιθὶ καὶ ᾿Ωθηρὶ καὶ Μεαζώθ· 5 πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ τῷ Αἰμὰν τῷ ἀνακρουομένῳ τῷ βασιλεῖ ἐν λόγοις Θεοῦ ὑψῶσαι κέρας. καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ Θεὸς τῷ Αἰμὰν υἱοὺς τεσσαρεσκαίδεκα, καὶ θυγατέρας τρεῖς. 6 πάντες οὗτοι μετὰ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ὑμνῳδοῦντες ἐν οἴκῳ Θεοῦ, ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κινύραις εἰς τὴν δουλείαν οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἐχόμενα τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ᾿Ασάφ, καὶ ᾿Ιδιθοὺν καὶ Αἰμάν. 7 καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν μετὰ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτῶν, δεδιδαγμένοι ᾄδειν Κυρίῳ, πᾶς συνιών, διακόσιοι ὀγδοήκοντα καὶ ὀκτώ. 8 καὶ ἔλαβον καὶ αὐτοὶ κλήρους ἐφημεριῶν κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν, τελείων καὶ μανθανόντων. 9 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν ὁ κλῆρος ὁ πρῶτος υἱῶν αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ τῷ ᾿Ασὰφ τῷ ᾿Ιωσὴφ Γοδολίας· ὁ δεύτερος ῾Ηνεία, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 10 ὁ τρίτος Ζακχούρ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 11 ὁ τέταρτος ᾿Ιεσρί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 12 ὁ πέμπτος Ναθανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 13 ὁ ἕκτος Βουκίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 14 ὁ ἕβδομος ᾿Ισεριήλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 15 ὁ ὄγδοος ᾿Ιωσία, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 16 ὁ ἔνατος Ματθανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 17 ὁ δέκατος Σεμεΐα, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 18 ὁ ἑνδέκατος ᾿Ασριήλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 19 ὁ δωδέκατος ᾿Ασαβία, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 20 ὁ τρισκαιδέκατος Σουβαήλ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 21 ὁ τεσσαρεσκαιδέκατος Ματταθίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 22 ὁ πεντεκαιδέκατος ᾿Ιεριμώθ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 23 ὁ ἑκκαιδέκατος ᾿Ανανίας, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 24 ὁ ἑπτακαιδέκατος ᾿Ιεσβασακά, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 25 ὁ ὀκτωκαιδέκατος ᾿Ανανί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 26 ὁ ἐννεακαιδέκατος Μαλλιθί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 27 ὁ εἰκοστὸς ῾Ελιαθά, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 28 ὁ εἰκοστὸς πρῶτος ᾿Ωθηρί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 29 ὁ εἰκοστὸς δεύτερος Γοδολλαθί, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 30 ὁ εἰκοστὸς τρίτος Μεαζώθ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο· 31 ὁ εἰκοστὸς τέταρτος Ῥωμετθιέζερ, υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ δεκαδύο.
