I just discovered this site, and I have to say, I am amazed! Everything is laid out so well, and there is a wealth of information here. I also must say that your case for modern Greek pronunciation of classical and Koine Greek makes a whole lot more sense to me than the "scholastic" pronunciation rules I was taught in my single year of Greek! Learning Greek as a living language really interests me, as I am very interested in the Orthodox Church. I hope to apply some of the Greek I learned several years ago to my current study of the Orthodox Church, and intend to learn to pronounce it according to the rules of Modern Greek.
