After several wweks awaiting my target texts to become available through the P2P eMule connections to no avail I have had to access my source material from another source which may be of use to others here.
While there are others on the Internet, this one seems to offer the cleanest links to the Migne-Patrologia-Graeca Google scans.
Some people face problems with eMule, which is not the easiest program to use; however, the www.ellopos.net/elpenor/greek-texts/fathers/migne-patrologia-graeca.asp">eMule version of Patrologia Graeca is better, since the one that you mention offers Google scans, with each volume missing a lot of pages.
Yes, George, you will get no argument from me about the quality of Google scans. I have only checked about 20% of my target text and it seems alright thus far, but my confidence is not high beyond this. Several years ago when I had need of the works of St. Gregory Nazianzen I had no trouble using eMule whatsoever, using your provided indexing. However, this time I finally received an error message that stated SYMPASCHEIN was no longer hosting the texts. I will continue my attempts though.
Perhaps the internal eMule references changed. If you find Google scans disappointing, try again with eMule, but first remove your current PG download list from eMule and use the on line links to refresh the eMule addresses. Let me know if you still receive any error alerts.
