A team of Greek archaeologists discovered what is thought to be Odysseus' palace on the island of Ithaka. Whether the palace indeed belonged to the famed hero or not, it remains an important find as it will further our understanding of the Late Mycenaean and dark ages period, that in which precisely the Trojan war is thought to have occured.
