Well, I'm just wondering if someone can PLEASE tell me where to find an answer key for Pharr's "Homeric Greek" text. I absolutely love working through this book but am in desperate need of a key to make sure I'm on the right track. I'm also using Mastronarde's Attic Greek and have found the key indispensible. (I'm amazed sometimes at how far off my translations are when I check them against the key). If there is no key available then could I suggest that one of you get started on it right away? If we want to encourage the continuation of Greek wisdom and language we're going to have to have some keys made available immediately. This lack of a key is especially disturbing for autodidacts who are sitting at home pulling their hair out over five or six words. So let's get cracking on that key.

Strangely enough, an answer key to Pharr's Homeric Greek seems not to exist!

Maybe in a "Homeric Greek" community we could post answers to be discussed and probably corrected. There is also John who just started working on Pharr, and others may follow. - John, what do you say?

If you like, I can create this new community, and also help as much as I can.

You are right 80%; but a key also may help you learn, especially if you create it yourself!
