| 1 And the borders of the tribe of Juda according to their families were from the borders of Idumea from the wilderness of Sin, as far as Cades southward. 2 And their borders were from the south as far as a part of the salt sea from the high country that extends southward. 3 And they proceed before the ascent of Acrabin, and go out round Sena, and go up from the south to Cades Barne; and go out to Asoron, and proceed up to Sarada, and go out by the way that is west of Cades. 4 And they go out to Selmona, and issue at the valley of Egypt; and the termination of its boundaries shall be at the sea: these are their boundaries southward. 5 And their boundaries eastward [are] all the salt sea as far as Jordan; and their borders from the north, and from the border of the sea, and from part of Jordan-- 6 the borders go up to Baethagla, and they go along from the north to Baetharaba, and the borders go on up to the stone of Baeon the son of Ruben. 7 And the borders continue on to the fourth part of the valley of Achor, and go down to Galgal, which is before the approach of Addamin, which is southward in the valley, and terminate at the water of the fountain of the sun; and their going forth shall be the fountain of Rogel. 8 And the borders go up to the valley of Onom, behind Jebus southward; this is Jerusalem: and the borders terminate at the top of the mountain, which is before the valley of Onom toward the sea, which is by the side of the land of Raphain northward. 9 And the border [going forth] from the top of the mountain terminates at the fountain of the water of Naphtho, and terminates at mount Ephron; and the border will lead to Baal; this is the city of Jarim. 10 And the border will go round from Baal to the sea, and will go on to the mount of Assar behind the city of Jarin northwards; this is Chaslon: and it will come down to the city of Sun, and will go on to the south. 11 And the border terminates behind Accaron northward, and the borders will terminate at Socchoth, and the borders will go on to the south, and will terminate at Lebna, and the issue of the borders will be at the sea; and their borders [shall be] toward the sea, the great sea shall be the boundary. 12 These [are] the borders of the children of Juda round about according to their families. 13 And to Chaleb the son of Jephone he gave a portion in the midst of the children of Juda by the command of God; and Joshua gave him the city of Arboc the metropolis of Enac; this is Chebron. 14 And Chaleb the son of Jephone destroyed thence the three sons of Enac, Susi, and Tholami, and Achima. 15 And Chaleb went up thence to the inhabitants of Dabir; and the name of Dabir before was the City of letters. 16 And Chaleb said, Whosoever shall take and destroy the City of letters, and master it, to him will I give my daughter Ascha to wife. 17 And Gothoniel the son of Chenez the brother of Chaleb took it; and he gave him Ascha his daughter to wife. 18 And it came to pass as she went out that she counseled him, saying, I will ask of my father a field; and she cried from off her ass; and Chaleb said to her, What is it? 19 And she said to him, Give me a blessing, for thou hast set me in the land of Nageb; give me Golathmain: and he gave her Chaleb Golathmain the upper, and Golathmain the lower. 20 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Juda. 21 And their cities were cities belonging to the tribe of the children of Juda on the borders of Edom by the wilderness, and Baeseleel, and Ara, and Asor, 22 and Icam, and Regma, and Aruel, 23 and Cades, and Asorionain, and Maenam, 24 and Balmaenan, and their villages, 25 and the cities of Aseron, this [is] Asor, 26 and Sen, and Salmaa, and Molada, 27 and Seri, and Baephalath, 28 and Cholaseola, and Beersabee; and their villages, and their hamlets, 29 Bala and Bacoc, and Asom, 30 and Elboudad, and Baethel, and Herma, 31 and Sekelac, and Macharim, and Sethennac, 32 and Labos, and Sale, and Eromoth; twenty-nine cities, and their villages. 33 In the plain country Astaol, and Raa, and Assa, 34 and Ramen, and Tano, and Iluthoth, and Maeani, 35 and Jermuth, and Odollam, and Membra, and Saocho, and Azecah. 36 And Sacarim and Gadera, and its villages; fourteen cities, and their villages; 37 Senna, and Adasan, and Magadalgad, 38 and Dalad, and Maspha, and Jachareel, 39 and Basedoth, and Ideadalea; 40 and Chabra, and Maches, and Machos, 41 and Geddor, and Bagadiel, and Noman, and Machedan: sixteen cities, and their villages; 42 Lebna, and Ithac, and Anoch, 43 and Jana, and Nasib, 44 and Keilam, and Akiezi, and Kezib, and Bathesar, and Aelom: ten cities, and their villages; 45 Accaron and her villages, and their hamlets: 46 from Accaron, Gemna, and all the cities that are near Asedoth; and their villages. 47 Asiedoth, and her villages, and her hamlets; Gaza, and its villages and its hamlets as far as the river of Egypt, and the great sea is the boundary. 48 And in the hill country Samir, and Jether, and Socha, 49 and Renna and the city of Letters, this [is] Dabir; 50 and Anon, and Eskaiman, and Aesam, 51 and Gosom, and Chalu, and Channa: eleven cities, and their villages; 52 Aerem, and Remna, and Soma, 53 and Jemain, and Baethachu, and Phacua, 54 and Euma, and the city Arboc, this is Chebron, and Soraith: nine cities and their villages: 55 Maor, and Chermel, and Ozib, and Itan, 56 and Jariel, and Aricam, and Zacanaim, 57 and Gabaa, and Thamnatha; nine cities, and their villages; 58 Alua, and Bethsur, and Geddon, 59 and Magaroth, and Baethanam, and Thecum; six cities, and their villages; Theco, and Ephratha, this is Baethleem, and Phagor, and Aetan, and Culon, and Tatam, and Thobes, and Carem, and Galem, and Thether, and Manocho: eleven cities, and their villages, 60 Cariathbaal, this [is] the city of Jarim, and Sotheba: two cities, and their villages: 61 and Baddargeis, and Tharabaam, and Aenon; 62 and Aechioza, and Naphlazon, and the cities of Sadon, and Ancades; seven cities, and their villages. 63 And the Jebusite dwelt in Jerusalem, and the children of Juda could not destroy them; and the Jebusites dwelt in Jerusalem to this day. |
ΚΑΙ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια φυλῆς ᾿Ιούδα κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν ἀπὸ τῶν ὁρίων τῆς ᾿Ιδουμαίας ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρήμου Σὶν ἕως Κάδης πρὸς λίβα. 2 καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτῶν τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβὸς ἕως μέρους θαλάσσης τῆς ἁλυκῆς, ἀπὸ τῆς λοφιᾶς τῆς φερούσης ἐπὶ λίβα 3 καὶ διαπορεύεται ἀπέναντι τῆς προσαναβάσεως ᾿Ακραβὶν καὶ ἐκπεριπορεύεται Σενὰ καὶ ἀναβαίνει ἀπὸ λιβὸς ἐπὶ Κάδης Βαρνὴ καὶ ἐκπορεύεται ᾿Ασωρὼν καὶ προσαναβαίνει εἰς Σάραδα καὶ ἐκπορεύεται τὴν κατὰ δυσμὰς Κάδης 4 καὶ ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ Σελμωνὰν καὶ διεκβάλλει ἕως φάραγγος Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν· τοῦτό ἐστιν αὐτῶν ὅρια ἀπὸ λιβός. 5 καὶ τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν· πᾶσα ἡ θάλασσα ἡ ἁλυκὴ ἕως τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς λοφιᾶς τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ μέρους τοῦ ᾿Ιορδάνου· 6 ἐπιβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ Βαιθαγλὰ καὶ παραπορεύεται ἀπὸ Βορρᾶ ἐπὶ Βαιθάραβα, καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ λίθον Βαιὼν υἱοῦ Ῥουβήν, 7 καὶ προσαναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὸ τέταρτον τῆς φάραγγος ᾿Αχὼρ καὶ καταβαίνει ἐπὶ Γαλγάλ, ἥ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι τῆς προσβάσεως ᾿Αδδαμίν, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ λίβα τῇ φάραγγι, καὶ διεκβάλλει ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ πηγῆς τοῦ ἡλίου, καὶ ἔσται αὐτοῦ ἡ διέξοδος πηγὴ Ῥωγήλ, 8 καὶ ἀναβαίνει τὰ ὅρια εἰς φάραγγα ᾿Ονὸμ ἐπὶ νώτου ᾿Ιεβοῦς ἀπὸ λιβὸς (αὕτη ἐστὶν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ) καὶ διεκβάλλει τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ κορυφὴν ὄρους, ἥ ἐστι κατὰ πρόσωπον φάραγγος ᾿Ονὸμ πρὸς θαλάσσης, ἥ ἐστιν ἐκ μέρους γῆς Ῥαφαΐν ἐπὶ βορρᾶ, 9 καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον ἀπὸ κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐπὶ πηγὴν ὕδατος Ναφθὼ καὶ διεκβάλλει εἰς τὸ ὄρος ᾿Εφρών, καὶ ἄξει τὸ ὅριον εἰς Βαὰλ (αὕτη ἐστὶ πόλις ᾿Ιαρίμ), 10 καὶ περιελεύσεται ὅριον ἀπὸ Βαὰλ ἐπὶ θάλασσαν καὶ παρελεύσεται εἰς ὄρος ᾿Ασσὰρ ἐπὶ νώτου, Πόλιν ᾿Ιαρὶν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χασλὼν) καὶ καταβήσεται ἐπὶ Πόλιν ἡλίου καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ λίβα, 11 καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον κατὰ νώτου ᾿Ακκαρὼν ἐπὶ βορρᾶν, καὶ διεκβαλεῖ τὰ ὅρια εἰς Σοκχὼθ καὶ παρελεύσεται ὅρια ἐπὶ λίβα καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ Λεβνά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος τῶν ὁρίων ἐπὶ θάλασσαν. καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτῶν ἀπὸ θαλάσσης· ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη ὁριεῖ. 12 ταῦτα τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα κύκλῳ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν. 13 καὶ τῷ Χάλεβ υἱῷ ᾿Ιεφονὴ ἔδωκε μερίδα ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα διὰ προστάγματος τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ ᾿Ιησοῦς τὴν πόλιν ᾿Αρβὸκ μητρόπολιν ᾿Ενὰκ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χεβρών). 14 καὶ ἐξωλόθρευσεν ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ υἱὸς ᾿Ιεφονὴ τοὺς τρεῖς υἱοὺς ᾿Ενάκ, τὸν Σουσὶ καὶ Θολαμὶ καὶ τὸν ᾿Αχιμᾶ. 15 καὶ ἀνέβη ἐκεῖθεν Χάλεβ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Δαβίρ· τὸ δὲ ὄνομα Δαβὶρ ἦν τὸ πρότερον Πόλις γραμμάτων. 16 καὶ εἶπε Χάλεβ· ὃς ἐὰν λάβῃ καὶ ἐκκόψῃ τὴν Πόλιν τῶν γραμμάτων καὶ κυριεύσῃ αὐτῆς, δώσω αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα μου εἰς γυναῖκα· 17 καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν Γοθονιὴλ υἱὸς Κενὲζ ἀδελφὸς Χάλεβ ὁ νεώτερος καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ τὴν ᾿Ασχὰν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ γυναῖκα. 18 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐκπορεύεσθαι αὐτὴν καὶ συνεβουλεύσατο αὐτῷ λέγουσα· αἰτήσομαι τὸν πατέρα μου ἀγρόν· καὶ ἐβόησεν ἐκ τοῦ ὄνου. καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ· τί ἐστί σοι; 19 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ· δός μοι εὐλογίαν, ὅτι εἰς γῆν Ναγὲβ δέδωκάς με· δός μοι τὴν Γολαθμαίν. καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῇ Χάλεβ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν ἄνω καὶ τὴν Γολαθμαὶν τὴν κάτω. 20 αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα.
21 ᾿Εγενήθησαν δὲ πόλεις αὐτῶν· πόλις πρώτη φυλῆς υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα ἐφ’ ὁρίων ᾿Εδὼμ ἐπὶ τῆς ἐρήμου, 22 καὶ Βαισελεὴλ καὶ ᾿Αρὰ καὶ ᾿Ασὼρ καὶ ᾿Ικὰμ καὶ Ῥεγμὰ καὶ ᾿Αρουὴλ 23 καὶ Κάδης καὶ ᾿Ασοριωναὶν καὶ Μαινὰμ 24 καὶ Βαλμαινὰν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν 25 καὶ αἱ πόλεις ᾿Ασερὼν (αὕτη ᾿Ασὼρ) 26 καὶ Σὴν καὶ Σαλμαὰ καὶ Μωλαδᾶ 27 καὶ Σερὶ καὶ Βαιφαλὰδ 28 καὶ Χολασεωλὰ καὶ Βηρσαβεὲ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν, 29 Βαλὰ καὶ Βακὼκ καὶ ᾿Ασὸμ 30 καὶ ᾿Ελβωϋδὰδ καὶ Βαιθὴλ καὶ ῾Ερμᾶ 31 καὶ Σεκελὰκ καὶ Μαχαρὶμ καὶ Σεθεννὰκ 32 καὶ Λαβὼς καὶ Σαλὴ καὶ ᾿Ερωμώθ, πόλεις εἰκοσιεννέα, καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. 33 ἐν τῇ πεδινῇ· ᾿Ασταὼλ καὶ Ῥάα καὶ ῎Ασσα 34 καὶ Ῥάμεν καὶ Τανὼ καὶ ᾿Ιλουθὼθ καὶ Μαιανὶ 35 καὶ ῾Ιερμοὺθ καὶ ᾿Οδολλὰμ καὶ Μεμβρὰ καὶ Σαωχὼ καὶ ᾿Αζηκὰ 36 καὶ Σακαρὶμ καὶ Γάδηρα καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς, πόλεις δεκατέσσαρες καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 37 Σεννὰ καὶ ᾿Αδασὰν καὶ Μαγαδαλγὰδ 38 καὶ Δαλὰλ καὶ Μασφὰ καὶ ᾿Ιαχαρεὴλ καὶ Λαχὶς 39 καὶ Βασηδὼθ καὶ ᾿Ιδεαδαλέα 40 καὶ Χαβρὰ καὶ Μαχὲς καὶ Μααχὼς 41 καὶ Γεδδὼρ καὶ Βαγαδιὴλ καὶ Νωμὰν καὶ Μαχηδάν, πόλεις ἑκκαίδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 42 Λεβνὰ καὶ ᾿Ιθὰκ καὶ ᾿Ανὼχ 43 καὶ ᾿Ιανὰ καὶ Νασὶβ 44 καὶ Κεϊλὰμ καὶ ᾿Ακιεζὶ καὶ Κεζὶβ καὶ Βαθησὰρ καὶ Αἰλώμ, πόλεις δέκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 45 ᾿Ακκαρὼν καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν· 46 ἀπὸ ᾿Ακκαρὼν Γεμνὰ καὶ πᾶσαι, ὅσαι εἰσὶ πλησίον ᾿Ασηδώθ, καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 47 ᾿Ασιεδὼθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς· Γάζα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῆς καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ χειμάρρου Αἰγύπτου· καὶ ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη διορίζει. 48 καὶ ἐν τῇ ὀρεινῇ· Σαμὶρ καὶ ᾿Ιεθὲρ καὶ Σωχὰ 49 καὶ Ῥεννὰ καὶ Πόλις γραμμάτων (αὕτη Δαβὶρ) 50 καὶ ᾿Ανὼν καὶ ᾿Εσκαιμὰν καὶ Αἰσὰμ 51 καὶ Γοσὸμ καὶ Χαλοὺ καὶ Χαννά, πόλεις ἕνδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 52 Αἰρὲμ καὶ Ῥεμνὰ καὶ Σομὰ 53 καὶ ᾿Ιεμαΐν καὶ Βαιθαχοὺ καὶ Φακουὰ 54 καὶ Εὐμὰ καὶ πόλις ᾿Αρβὸκ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Χεβρὼν) καὶ Σωραίθ, πόλεις ἐννέα καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν· 55 Μαὼρ καὶ Χερμὲλ καὶ ᾿Οζὶβ καὶ ᾿Ιτὰν 56 καὶ ᾿Ιαριὴλ καὶ ᾿Αρικὰμ καὶ Ζακαναΐμ 57 καὶ Γαβαὰ καὶ Θαμναθά, πόλεις ἐννέα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 58 ᾿Αλουὰ καὶ Βαιθσοὺρ καὶ Γεδδὼν 59 καὶ Μαγαρὼθ καὶ Βαιθανὰμ καὶ Θεκούμ, πόλεις ἓξ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· Θεκὼ καὶ ᾿Εφραθὰ (αὕτη ἐστὶ Βηθλεὲμ) καὶ Φαγὼρ καὶ Αἰτὰν καὶ Κουλὸν καὶ Τατὰμ καὶ Θωβὴς καὶ Καρὲμ καὶ Γαλὲμ καὶ Θεθὴρ καὶ Μανοχώ, πόλεις ἕνδεκα καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν· 60 Καριαθβαὰλ (αὕτη ἡ πόλις ᾿Ιαρὶμ) καὶ Σωθηβᾶ, πόλεις δύο καὶ αἱ ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν 61 καὶ Βαδδαργεὶς καὶ Θαραβαὰμ καὶ Αἰνὼν 62 καὶ Αἰχιοζὰ καὶ Ναφλαζὼν καὶ αἱ πόλεις Σαδὼν καὶ ᾿Αγκάδης, πόλεις ἑπτὰ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν. 63 καὶ ὁ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖος κατῴκει ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλήμ, καὶ οὐκ ἠδυνάσθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ ᾿Ιούδα ἀπολέσαι αὐτούς· καὶ κατῴκησαν οἱ ᾿Ιεβουσαῖοι ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
