Χιλιάδες ἦχοι ἀμέτρητοι, πολὺ βαθιὰ στὴ χτίσι· / ἡ Ἀνατολὴ τ' ἀρχίναγε κ' ἐτέλειωνέ το ἡ Δύσι. / Κάποι ἀπὸ τὴν Ἀνατολή, κι' ἀπὸ τὴ Δύσι κάποι· / κάθ' ἦχος εἶχε καὶ χαρά, κάθε χαρὰ κι' ἀγάπη.
