He calls in a metaphor heaven and earth those who live in heaven and earth, who are said they will pass all their current condition in order to arrive to the things beyond. Because the words of the Saviour always will act according to their nature, perfect as they are and impossible to abandon what they are and improve. Heaven and earth will pass, but His words will remain to be the words of Him, through whom everything was made. The word of the things doesn't pass, although the things pass.
