On the sides of both Aigaleo and Hymettos, where the trees are scattered, discern them one by one; on Penteli, the line of the Duchess' palace seems quite clearly; on the Hymettos' top line towards Penteli, two or three existing poor trees bent as well as crooked are nicely discerned; on the hills of slaughter houses, upon Lycabettus, or the distant hills of St. Lukas of Patisia, either a man or some animal on their top line show wonderfully. Turn to Piraeus; all chimneys are figured one by one; each smoke is separate and each smoke becoming silver, flies separately into the golden light. As many chimneys there are, so many smokes distinguish above Piraeus. On the way to Piraeus during all over winder, from this very position, you distinguish the skeleton of each one poplar-tree as a whole, just the way it is near you a hair full tree. On the sea, a boat walks; its own chest , its equipment appears clearly when lighted the right way.
