As I have already stated, it is fear that keeps people smoking, the fear of that empty, insecure feeling that you get when you stop supplying the nicotine.
It is the brainwashing that is the main difficulty in giving up smoking.
The beautiful truth is that there is absolutely nothing to give up. On the contrary, you will be freeing yourself from a terrible disease and achieving marvelous positive gains. The effect of brainwashing is to delude us into believing that there is a weakness in us, or something inherent in the cigarette that we need, and that when we stop smoking there will be a void.
Once you purge that little monster from your body and the brainwashing from your mind, you will neither want cigarettes nor need them. Cigarettes do not improve meals. They ruin them. They destroy your sense of taste and smell.
