The Personal History And Experience Of David Copperfield The Younger
Summary
Traddles, Betsey Trotwood, Mr Dick and Copperfield go to Canterbury, on Micawber’s instruction.
Micawber tells them to go to the lawyer’s office five minutes after their meeting.
They do this, and all sit in a room including Agnes, Heep and his mother.
Micawber tells of how Heep has been cheating and forging Mr Wickfield’s signature for more money.
Micawber is happy and Betsey Trotwood says that she will pay for the Micawbers to emigrate to Australia if they wanted as a thank you gift for uncovering Heep’s dirty dealings.
