  The housekeeper – Mary Anne Paragon is useless, so Copperfield suggests that Dora sack her, and she says that she couldn’t and starts crying.
Betsey Trotwood tells him not to argue and concentrate on Dora’s good points and not the bad ones.
Copperfield apologises.
They sack the housekeeper.
Traddles is invited to supper, but the food is a disaster.
