Summary

  Copperfield takes care of the will: things are left to Copperfield, Emily and Peggotty.
The funeral is held.
Ham returns to the boathouse to say that Emily had left a note to say that she didn’t love Ham enough.
They work out that she’s eloped with Steerforth.
Mr Peggotty decides to look for her.
