Wow! I cannot believe how many Calvert students there are out there.
I am way behind in my works, due to being hosptalized. So I am not going to lie, but ask for some major help here. I need to understand some questions for test 140 reading.
4. How does dickens use foreshadowing to reveal Uriah Heep's role as a villain in the novel?
9. How does David's perception of Steerforth change in these chapters
I really need help with most of read/literature test 140, except the poetry part A & C. I already did that.If any calvert student needs help in other areas of the test, I'd be more than happy to help. Lets work together, and then we can enjoy the summer! Heck it's a shot trying. My email is posted, but if it doesn't show, then here it is. Tulip914@aol.com

For question number four I answered:
Whenever Uriah was described earlier on in the book, he is said to be cadaverous-looking which makes the reader immediately assume that he is going to cause some difficulty to the main character, David. A more specific example is when David finds Uriah reading a book in his tenant's library. As Uriah reads, underlining the words with his finger as he goes, David imagines a trail of slime where Uriah's hand had touched.
For number nine:
After David embarasses himself in front of Agnes at the theater because of excessive dirnking beforehand with Steerforth, Steerforth is no longer seen by David as a close and trusted friend. Agnes later makes it clear to David that Steerfort is one of his "bad angels."
Hope I helped!

4. David comments on uriahs cold slimy like hands that he can't seem to wipe the feel of them off of his hands after a hand shake.Basically the constant discomfort David feels whenever Uriah is around...

I have discovered that the advisory teaches give u points if u make the question make sense. U don't even have to know much about the subject, just make it sound like u do.
