A solitary tone in the celestial vault,
so soft it vibrates and hums ;
inaudible at first, then intones as it
reaches a crescendo , it seeks and sees another tone nearby,
in the stillness , silent vast expanse of space.

A dyad is its life long wish : two tones,
to vibrate and resonate in unison,
to create something new and different;
a vestige of themselves to be constellated
in the harmonic spectrum.
