For those interested in Classics ( mainly American and Englilsh Literature ) , learning another world and culture should bring them great pleasure .
But As far as I'm concerned , some complicated , plotless stories make me confused .( In spite of easy translation ) In another words , I'm at a loss what meaning or implication the author has .
In such a case , psychological drama , along with no action could prevent the plot from advancing , remains as the begining of the story , which may cause us bored or even depressed .
Works by Poe, Henly James , Katherine Mansfield are good example .
Recently I had much trouble with the psychological subject in " the bleast in the Jungle " , to fugure out what those lines mean .
Did anyone have such a experience through reading literature ?
If so , I would like to share it with you .
I look forward to your comment soon .
Thank you .
