Garden Reverie
Silence, solemn meditation
upright and motionless
there in the midst of anemones
and buttercups
wings drawn back;
veined petals of desire
in the gentle draughts
and scents of Spring
A maiden dressed in white
festooned with garlands
awaits near the mineral spa
that babbles of amorous arrows:
can they find their mark in a heart
so as to be carried over the threshold
of wind flowers to a joyous banquet and dances ?
A sudden rustle nearby: eternity broken.
Petals quiver and wings outstretch
ready for a spirited departure
in a sea of anemone memories.

Nice poem.
Your poem wonderfully combines both form & image into a delicately paced measure of silent grace or is that the hidden movements, only the Poet sees in true vision.
Many Thanks
